This recipe is one of my childhood favourites. My Grandmother would make it for me every peach season! I loved ever second of devouring it :) Now that I’m older she’s passed the recipe on to me. I hope you enjoy it.

  • 4 cups sliced peaches (peeled)
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 1-2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 cup corn starch (add more to thicken)
  • 1-2 cups whipped cream (to top)

  1. Place sliced peaches in a bowl and add sugar
  2. allow peaches to sit for 15-20 mins (withdrawing the juice)
  3. Strain the juice from the peaches and pour liquid in a saucepan – heat over med-low
  4. Add almond flavouring and corn starch **STIRRING CONSTANTLY** cook until mixture is thick and clear
  5. Remove from stove and add peaches – mix
  6. Pour peach mixture into cooked pie crust and chill
  7. Top with whipped cream and serve
