New April Abs!

So I haven’t been able to find a “Rad Abs April“, “Bad Abs April“, “Dad’s Abs April“? ….that’s weird.

I’ve been trying for weeks! Since I got addicted to doing the Mad Abs March! I completed the challenge today and I feel AWESOME :)

I did however find this challenge….

[Source]

I think it’s amazing! and I plan on tackling it for the next month.

Who’s with me???

I love the “power hour” and I think it’ll be a great way to maintain the ab and arm muscles I’ve developed over the last month.

I actually think I look really scary in the above photo and you can clearly see my right arm is stronger than my left. However, I like that there’s definition ;) lol

I ended the Mad Abs March today and I am so proud of myself…..

You know you’re hardcore when your wrists have ingrained marks from holding your planks!

but that’s just how I roll.

Questions:

1. did you do Mad Abs March?? are you going to do this April arms & abs challenge??

2. muscle definition on women – yay or nay??

It depends. I really want to look strong, fit and sexy, but I hate looking like a man ;) …..maybe I need implants, or wait – I have a Handful Bra :D

PS: I have been working on figuring out all the final prizes and such for the race & photo contest. I have the time winners but have much to do, so please bare with me :) thanks!

  1. Seriously! Check out your arms. Love them! I’m quite intrigued by the ab calendar. I need to work on mine so badly. 2 c-sections definitely did not help me at all.

  2. I am in for April’s challenge. I love muscle defintion on women, but not to the extreme that is looks manly. I am going to get a group of my friends to join me on this challenge.

  3. Yay! I’m glad you found April, I was looking for that. I’m torn about taking it on because I don’t want to do anything to really make myself sore as I start to taper, but hopefully it’ll just keep me occupied and make me feel so goooood :)

  4. Awesome challenge. Glad you found this. I’ve been totally struggling with core work, so hopefully this will help me greatly.

As for muscle definition on women? That is absolutely a YAY! One day… Yours look fab, by the way.

  5. I printed out the calendar…I have been looking for some thing to jump start my abs and arms again after my shoulder injury last fall….our shoulders look great…way to go girl!

    ;-)

LOVE muscle definition on women … I think it makes us look strong…just like we are!! We are STRONG women…hear me roar!! hahah

  6. I don’t think I’ll do the mad abs, but i do strength training and i say YAY to definition on women. Unless you start taking serious steroids you will not look manly…but you will look strong and get lots of comments from your friends when you go sleeveless :)

  7. Those are some serious muscles you have there!
hmmmm…. it is tempting to try the mad abs march thing only in April. Maybe I will do that! I would do the April one but I have no idea what half of the things are on it!
I seriously want a six pack. I don’t know why but I want one so bad! Or as close as I can get to one. :D I have been doing P90X ab ripper and it is so hard! But it is only 15 mins. :(

  8. Muscle definition on women? Definitely yay. I’m not talking about the muscle definition caused by steroid abuse in body building women. Just muscle definition that says to the world – “yeah, I work out!”

  9. You look awesome! Perfectly toned. I did not do March abs – but I should do this calendar! My running partner wants to do more arms, abs etc so maybe I will force her to too :)

  10. The April Arms and Abs Challenge? YAY, I caught this entry on time because usually by the time I find an exciting workout challenge, I’m too late! ha ha.

Please email me the calendar! I’d love to do it along with you.

  11. dang girl, u got some guns!!! i luv it!! i’m all for muscle definition and like that WAY more than the jiggly wigglies…lol. even those twiggy models who are the ‘skinny fat’ with no muscle tone aren’t my cup of tea. that said, i mean there is the other extreme, i don’t wanna look like a she-hulk…some of the muscle competition winners look a tad scary. happy sunday!!

  12. Muscle definition on ladies is a yes! I think Madonna in the last few decades is a good example. Strong but still feminine.

I gave up a long time ago on my chest area, but I don’t have to pay thousands to make my muscles bigger.:)

  13. Thanks for sharing this! I need something like this to get me started on my Tough Mudder workouts, and I wasn’t finding any Awesome April Abs calendars on Pintrest!

  14. I didnt know admission to the gun show was free!

Good for you! I think muscles on women are amazing…if done correctly. I was watching Celebrity Apprentice last night and Debbie Gibson just looked gross because she was TOO toned. It was almost manly looking. Good for her to be able to do it though.

Ill do the April challenge with you! Im not training this month and want to focus on my strength and looking at your March results….mmkay!

    • Hey Mayra – I actually took this calendar from the blog I sourced – I did the march calendar as stated – so just what was there – one set.

I’ll do the same with this calendar. I do other workouts though. I’m also posting example vids on facebook – so feel free to stop by!

  16. First a million apologies for not submitting a pic. I should have done it before we left on vacay, alas I could not pull it off. Love the submissions though!
I am so in on the April challenge! Guns come naturally to me, abs not so much. Guess I shouldve been in on March. Ha!

    Big yay for definition!
