Chobani Review

Last week I was given a case of assorted Chobani Greek Yogurt (Canadian site) and it’s already gone.

Nothing but Good

Entirely accurate.

I received 4 flavours (all 0% fat): strawberry, peach, black cherry & pomegranate.

I can’t even pick a favourite but I thought I’d hate the Black Cherry but it turned out to be amazing!

Logan and I devoured it all. Logan actually would dance and beg whenever I took a cup out for myself “Please mom! Please!” So I think I only ate 2 out of the 12 to myself.

Normally the only Greek Yogurt I like is the PC one but this tasted just as good, if not better. It is hard for me to give a true comparison between them because I was given flavoured ones from Chobani and have only ever had the plain and vanilla PC type.

Their yogurt is thick, creamy and has yummy chunks of fruit in it and with only 140 calories per cup and 14g of protein – it was my after workout snack this week :) YUM

I thought this Greek yogurt by Chobani was amazing :) and so did Little Lo! We highly recommend it 😀

1. ever tried Chobani?? what did you think?

2. what is your favourite yogurt flavour??

Vanilla – hands down. Unfortunately Chobani Canada doesn’t have that …yet 😉

PS: I want to thank Chobani for giving me a life time supply of ice packs – great for running injuries 😉

*this yogurt was given to me free of charge but I was in no way compensated for my opinion.*

  1. Yum! I love Greek yogurt! We have a store down here where you can buy huge quantities of things and we have gotten Greek yogurt a couple of time. It was always gone within a week. 😛 I am not sure what kind it was.
My favorite flavor is strawberry. I love strawberry yogurt. 😀

  2. I love Chobani! Out of the Greek yogurts out there, it is my favorite and has the widest variety of flavors! However, I don’t eat it as much as I would like to with the high per-cup price tag. I do still eat Greek yogurt–I just get it from Aldi.

    • do you know how much on of those cups cost?? I couldn’t find it on their website. I don’t live near a store that sells it so I have no idea – otherwise I would’ve commented on the price difference. I find ALL greek yogurt expensive. but the amount of protein is worth it to me :)

    • ya, such a nice surprise! lol 😀 ps: I miss you – I’m off tonight so I’ll be creepy you …..yep, I said it in a scary stalker voice 😉

  3. Chobani does indeed live up to the hype! My favorite flavor is blueberry. I have recently discovered Yoplait’s strawberry greek yogurt and I dare say it’s just as good as Chobani, and LOADS cheaper.

    • well that’s GREAT! I have never tried Yoplaits greek version, for all I know Canada doesn’t even have it – I’ll be checking at the grocery store.

  4. Yum, I love Chobani! My favorite is the Blood Orange, can’t get enough of it. My husband absolutely hates it though, I gave him the vanilla to mix with some granola and he can’t figure out how I can eat the stuff!

  5. Wahoooooo! So glad Chobani sent you some yogurt to review. Did you slash into that box? When I got my small packs, I slit the middle section tops with the scissors when I slashed the tape on the box so had to eat those ones first.

I like the pomegranate the best of these flavors and thought it was cool that there are seeds in it.

My VERY favorite is the plain, but they are all amazing and so happy for you that you got some too. I want MORE!

    • Elle! until I saw this comment I completely forgot that you emailed me about this! argh….I am so sorry I forgot to respond :(

My email has been intense lately, but it’s no excuse. sorry.

I did not slash into it – but I was very careful as I have done that before with another product 😉 and I want MORE too!

  6. IT is the ONLY yogurt I will eat these days…you were so lucky to get a box load of the good stuff!! I have tried peach…so so, I LOVE Black Cherry too and Blueberry not BAD…but MY FAVORITE has to be vanilla! (Can’t believe you don’t have it up there.)

YEP…boring but, I mix stuff in it to make it even yummier. (I add some walnuts, dark chocolate chips and occasionally granola or flaxseed) YUM!

    • I totally agree Kathy – it’s great in shakes and everything I love it! I have PC’s vanilla in my fridge right now and prefer to use that in my shakes. As far as I know Canada has just begun distributing here and so we only have those 4 flavours and plain.

I am sure once it starts selling like it does in the states it will be everywhere and we’ll have lots more options 😀

  7. I have never tried Chobani. Isn’t it hard to find in Canada? I live in the GTA and haven’t found it north of T.O.
But I am dying to try it.

    • Hey Sarah!

Thanks so much for visiting :) and it IS hard to find here in Canada, as they haven’t been distributing here for very long.

You can check out their store locator and see if there’s one near you….but as far as I know there isn’t one near me either :(

      do you have a blog??

  8. ahhh i eat chobani constantly–its so DARN good! my favorite flavor is the 0% apple cinnamon, the 2% mango and 2% pineapple. i eat the 0% vanilla if im going to mix in granola, its wonderful!! :)

    • Wow I was checking out the American site and you guys have WAY more flavours. YUM! I guess if I win another one of your giveaways you’ll have to send me some Chobani to try instead of the Almond Joy 😉 lol

  9. I eat a lot of chobani and really like the apple cinnamon. (I HATE the pomegranate- ick the SEEDS!!!!)
I have heard that the blood orange is amazing but I can’t seem to find it here yet…
I wish I’d get a case, it would save me a ton of cash!
