My sister‘s boyfriend Dan‘s sister and her fiance came for a visit from Brasil and it would be our first time meeting them

I decided that since brunch food was on the menu I would contribute and try to attempt a clean eating muffin recipe. One of Janetha’s actually….one that she guest posted on my blog.
NOTE TO SELF: do not substitute vanilla protein powder for chocolate protein powder and then try adding cinnamon to cover the taste AND then grab the cumin by accident and toss mass amounts of it into a peach muffin recipe. EPIC FAIL <—- my worse to date.
I’ve surprisingly eaten about 3 muffins – I’m not a waster. They’re moist with a cumin and cinnamon overdoes after taste

Nic made the French toast!
I smothered mine in natural maple syrup and grabbed every ounce of fruit I could fit on my plate. I also treated myself to some bacon because it had been far too long since I last had it
The afternoon was filled with such awesome family time that I don’t want to bore you to death with hundreds of photos. I do however, want to show you Lucas’ shirt and how awesome it is *it’s the title of this post!

I also made cauliflower bread sticks (recipe to follow) and I screwed it up too. Don’t worry I’ll post the recipe MINUS my failure and it’ll taste amazing – promise 
3. do you wear shirts with quotes/words on them?? what does your favourite one say??
My only shirt with words on it happens to be my favourite worded shirt and it says “Make It Stop” I love wearing it on days when that’s applicable to everything
4. do you have a good support system??
oh my gosh I am the same way, I will burn popcorn and still eat it. I refuse to waste food.
Once upon a time I was making a pasta salad. All went well till I added the chocolate mini-chips. Before the pasta had totally cooled down. It tasted fine, as long as you were eating blindfolded.
My favourite brunch food is what someone else cooks.

Eggs Benedict is my favorite too. I have an excellent french toast casserole that I must send to you some time. I’m a food waster – wah – Peter doesnt like that about me
I waste some food….but lately I’ve been trying to learn to portion for leftovers properly and eat things that are going to go bad first

Vicky and Lucas were so cool. Plus Lucas doesn’t speak much English so he would yell out “closed caption” whenever he wanted a translation

My sister is the queen of food fails! She once made cookies without the baking soda….they looked and tasted awful. Even the dog wouldn’t eat them! I’m a huge corned beef hash lover when we go out to eat breakfast….like lick my plate!

Brunch and breakfast food is my favorite! I love french toast and hash browns. I could eat my body weight in hash browns.
