These last two days have left me yearning for more love in my life. I want to give an honest effort to try and love my fellow peer more. I’m so negative and angry lots of the time when I’d rather open my heart and spread some love.

As mentioned briefly yesterday we simply adored Coldplay. The whole afternoon was amazing. Almost whimsical, if you will. We walked for over an hour around the city. It was beautiful and the wind was refreshing

*I told you there’d be a CN Tower picture
We had a lovely dinner – probably one of the best ones ever! When you walk out of a sports bar after only ordering water (don’t worry I gave her 50c for her efforts) and your idea of the best possible place for a romantic dinner is a grocery store…..you are hearby known as a foodie!

I made my own “big salad” is was a whopping $13 but it was amazing. Colin had a steak sandwich and taters and I also got some fruit afterwards…….the only thing missing was wine.

* you know you’re awesome when the guy at the check out remarks on your amazing salad making skills and is floored when he discovers you’ve managed to snag some avocado in there too ;P
Thankfully Toronto has amazing underground grocery stores with WINE BARS in them (!!) I was so excited. We had some amazing Ontario wines and the best part was it was beside the ACC where our concert chariot awaited

* we were really just talking about how this underground bar should have its own reality tv series. It was drama! lol
Afterwards, our hearts, souls and true selves were revealed courtesy of Chris Martin and his amazing front man capabilities to not only connect to everyone in the room, but go beyond and connect us all together as well

* groupies! – I told Colin this was the closest I have ever sat at a seated concert…..without having to sleep with anyone
har har! ….it was then I realized that I had, as Colin bought me the tickets. Darn, once a groupie, always a groupie.
We headed home to make our lunches for Wonderland the next day. Yep, I know you pack lunches too
We can’t afford 6$ waters and 12$ pizza.

Canada’s wonderland was an epic fail. <—- only in the ride to $ aspect. We didn’t get there at gate open and paid for it. We were there for 4hrs and we rode 5 rides – we paid $40/each – that’s 8$ each/per ride!!!! 2 rides we went on were worth it but seriously waiting for over an hour just to spend less than a minute getting an adrenaline rush is crazy.
But we couldn’t NOT ride the Leviathan!!!! <—- links to the vid Colin took – go watch it from our eyes live!!!!

it was amazing
Ali Mc’s roller coaster line up tips:

This was our view from the line – however we had these chill kids in front of us that cut the line when everyone was lost in texting world. (you know the ones I speak of) we decided to relive our youth and did the same. Yes, you can hate me, I budded in line. However, if you can bud in front of people and have them chat with you the whole line, end up sharing your water with the child in front of you because he’s dying of dehydration AND ride with those individuals and have them leaving saying “have a nice day” <—– you have budded correctly. The only time you can cut in front of someone is if they don’t notice! then there’s no anger
That’s my asshole tip that puts spread the love to shame.

The coolest part was when the punk kids noticed we had got behind them in line and gave Colin the approving nod
<— when you’re turning/over 30 these are the kind of highlights you’ll live for.
Overall our experience was rushed and not too much fun. Excluding when we bought stuffed dogs you could “walk” – they’re for the kids I swear!

Lesson learn. Never go to an amusement park unless you a) arrive BEFORE the park opens and b) you can stay until the park closes.
Colin and I are big money savers so we tend to get anxious when we don’t use money efficiently – and that was definitely yesterday. Oh well, such is life.

Questions:
1. do you like roller coasters???
I used to live for them but I think I’m getting old
I hated waiting in line for so long….but who does?
2. have you ever eaten at a grocery store…..and preferred it
??
I used to get lunch at fortinos and it was great – what’s better than fresh ingredients right there in front of you?
3. are you money conscious? do you get worried about it when you spend a large portion??
I used to spend frivolously now Colin has changed me forever and I think I might drive myself insane
4. have you ever cut in line?? would you??
I don’t know that I have before. I don’t recall it. I do recall being on the other side and freaking out. Hence why my tip was to do it when the people are oblivious. I’m not saying it’s right to do this but I did it….so.
